is it bad that I almost prefer the natural look before the painted? thats not to say your paint jobs are in anyway unpleasant to the eye, I think I just like to see the fact that its hand carved, the craftsmanship in these are wonderfully done.

its rare to see these kinds of well crafted puppets will you be creating your own designed puppets some day?

Nah, plenty of people prefer the look of unfinished wood. Actually that's something I ought to be doing more often having literally hundreds of unpublished shots of unfinished pieces like this one. I have about a handful of original designs for automata, but there's just so much I can do and want to do involving ponies so that gets my attention for now.
